User Data Deletion

Who can request deletion

If you have a Discover Bulgaria account, you can request deletion of the account and the data associated with it. You do not need to be signed in to make the request, but providing the email address you used to register helps us verify it.

How to request deletion

Discover Bulgaria does not currently offer a self-service account deletion feature in the profile or account area.

To request deletion, contact us through AniDigit at https://www.anidigit.com/. Please include the email address linked to your account and a clear statement that you want your Discover Bulgaria account and data deleted.

What a deletion request covers

• Account information, including your email address and display name.
• Authentication-related profile information held by Supabase Auth.
• Favorites you have saved.
• Places you have submitted.
• Photos you have uploaded.

Public content and moderation

Published places and photos are public community content. When your account is deleted, your submissions may be removed or anonymised where possible. If specific published content needs separate moderation or removal, please mention it in your request and we will review it.

Facebook Login users

If you signed up with Facebook Login, you can also remove Discover Bulgaria from your Facebook Apps and Websites settings. Removing Facebook authorization does not automatically delete your Discover Bulgaria account. To delete your Discover Bulgaria data, follow the deletion instructions on this page.

Retention

We do not apply a fixed automatic deletion timeline. Once we receive and verify a valid request, we will delete or anonymise your data as promptly as our technical systems and legitimate security or legal requirements allow.

After deletion

After deletion you will no longer be able to sign in, your favorites will be removed and any submitted places will no longer be associated with your account.
